  good rapport by engaging in an informal talk with the students.

          The present lesson is based on the theme 'Sports'. Teacher talks about running race and also introduces world famous athletes like Jesse Owens, Milkha Singh, P.T. Usha, Ussain Bolt, Justin Gatlin etc. by showing their pictures. 
FAMILIARIZATION OF THE TOPIC 
      Teacher introduces the
  writer Nisha Punjabi by showing her picture and writes the title on the black
  board.

        Teacher reads the first
 two paragraphs with proper stress, intonation and pronunciation.

        Teacher asks three or four students to read the paragraphs clearly.

  paragraphs silently and put ‘√’ mark when they understand a sentence and ‘X’

        Teacher asks the
  students to be in groups and share their ideas and what they found

  leaders to present the products prepared by them.
